AZ Youth

February Challenge

Welcome to the first AZ Youth Funbeat Challenge!
The challenge will take place during February and every form of activity or exercise that you perform during this period will earn you points. By the end of the month the person with the most points will be the winner and receive both eternal glory and a prize for their efforts.

The rules are as follows: 
- All activities that you record in your calendar will earn you points 
- Low intensity training such as a walk, yoga etc. will earn you 1 point/minute 
- High intensity training such as running, weights etc. will earn you 2 points/minute 
- Any activity related to getting to/from work will also earn you 2 points/minute so please specify that in your calendar 
- The activity has to last for at least 30 consecutive minutes to get you any points 
No cheating, we trust that you only log activities in your calendar that you have actually performed! 

By the end of every week, points will be summarized and a top list will be presented.
Also, keep track of this discussion thread for possibilities to earn extra points during the challenge.

Don't forget to change your settings so that your calendar is not in private mode and try to keep you calendar as well updated as possible to make it easier for us to summarize your score.

Apologies for being late with summarising the first week, but here it is!

Markus has set the standard with a stunning 530 points during the first week.
In second place we have Inken with 60 points earned by biking to work.

Good job guys! Since it's only the first week we still hope to get some more people engaged in the competition so keep up the hard work.

During this week (week 6), running will earn you 1 extra point per minute. That is to say, 3 points per minute in total. So put your trainers on and get running!

Another week has passed and here is an update on the current standings;

Markus still holds a strong lead with 910 points. Well done!
Inken has earned a total of 435 points and is our runner up.

Everyone else stay steady at 0 points and need to get a move one if they want to challenge our top two!

For this week, doing yoga will get you an extra point per minute so let's get on that mat!

Hi everyone!
March is here and we have reached the end of the competition! If you still have activities that you haven't registered but that you want included in your score, please go ahead and make sure everything is registered by the end of this week.
I will summarize the scores and announce the winner during next week.

Nice going and I hope that the few of you that participated have enjoyed it. The winner will be awarded with a small prize, and don't forget the eternal glory that comes with it!

AND THE WINNER IS....

MARKUS!

All points have been summarized and we have a clear winner! Markus completely smashed all competition and walks away with the victory this time. As previously mentioned, this of course entitles him to bask in eternal glory but there is also an actual prize that will be presented to him. Picture hopefully to come.

The final scores were:
1. Markus - 4400 points
2. Lukas - 1660 points
3. Inken - 825 points

Really well done all of you and thank you for participating in our February Challenge! Hopefully we will be able to try something similar again with a higher number of participants. :)
