Looking back to The Gaston Reiff Memorial meeting at Braine L'alleud Brussels on 4th may 2017 was on a warm and dry day in the first race of two with a field of 21.The start was slow and not good tactically, with chag lacking in the race and a gusty wind across the track. Two chg/drvgphs worked and there was impedance on the third lap but the time of 5:49.44 was good making the previous stride cadence and enervation and start work worthwhile.
